Hot wax is used on the smaller intimate areas, under arms, eyebrows. Talc or oil is applied to the skin prior to the wax so the wax sticks to the hair and not to the skin. The heat encourages the hair follicle to open. Hot wax removes more stubborn hair and provides a superior finish.
Warm/Strip wax is used for arms and legs. A thin layer of wax is applied with a roller system for ease, hygiene and speed It is removed with a paper strip.
Half centimetre or longer is ideal.
Everyone is different, but you should get two to three good hair free weeks. Most people have between 5-6 weeks in-between waxing. Cream can be purchased to slow down hair growth. Exfoliating regularly can help to slow down appearance of growth.
Exfoliate and moisturise the day before your treatment. This will prepare your skin, remove dead skin cells, and make your waxing more comfortable.
For 24 hours after waxing. No deodorant, highly perfumed lotions, soap, shower gel, body sprays, talc, fake tan, hot baths/showers, swimming, steam room, sauna, massage, strenuous exercise. For 48 hours after waxing. No sun bathing, sunbeds.
